The tambourine draws back to the spectacle of the World’s Fairs. More than exhibitions of art and industry, these were stages for cultural exchange. The Paris exhibitions included performances from Africa, Asia, and the Middle East that went on to greatly inspire composers such as Debussy.

Tambourines are an emblem of the globalism of the era. Our collection celebrates its geometry, but also its percussive musicality. Mirrored discs on a tambourine flash in and out of view and our diamonds follow suit, appearing and disappearing as a golden ribbon weaves between them.
